To activate Nemo Card (NFC Type) on your account, you must turn on the NFC function on your device.
Follow the instructions below. You can’t activate Nemo Card (NFC Type) on a device that does not support the NFC function.
1. Android
Please turn on the NFC function on your smartphone. (Settings → Connections → NFC and contactless payments → On)
Set the NFC mode as the “Standard mode”. Nemo Card is not readable with the “Card mode”.
Please check whether you set the NFC mode as “Standard mode” if your Nemo Card is not readable. For most Android phones, the censor for the NFC function is in the center of the phone. The censor might be on the bottom of the phone as well.
2. iOS
You don’t have to take any actions to turn on the NFC functions on an iPhone. However, the function is only available for iPhones using iOS 13 or higher versions. If the NFC function is not working, please check Apple Customer Service or check if your device is NFC supported.
